"What a wonderful "whiff" of nostalgia when opening the Momento pillows that Robin Taple sent me. She created a masterpiece for me and my friends to remember our days together as flight attendants! I'm just blown away by every detail of the fabrics used, the color scheme, and she was very easy to work with, considering I live in Pennsylvania, and she in Minnesota. All th eideas came together to create the most memorable gifts of reminiscence ever! Robin's professionalism is impeccable and if anyone would want to create a keepsake of memories, this is the way to create the most wonderful gift! I can't wait to come up with another idea for a friend, family member, or loved one to do it all over again! Thank you Robin for a job well done!

" My first introduction to Momento was a purchase of a pillow for my Irish mother's 90th birthday. The pillow has a wonderful picture of a thatched cottage and the quote: " Home is where one starts from," by T.S. Eliot. The fabric colors match the library perfectly. The pillow is filled with lavender. For the last two years as I care for my aging mother, I often pick up the pillow and take a deep breath of lavender, and then I am able to carry on watching her favorite shows, baseball, hockey, or football or anything to do with those sports.
Next, I have a little Christmas pillow hanging in my car filled with lavender. Santa matches my car and makes me happy all year. I also have given away numerous pillows with an image of the monarch butterfly by Joe Hoautman with Mary Logue's poetry from her book Meticulous Attachments.
Recently my delightful friend Marianne decided I and my husband John needed a pillow to celebrate 38 years of marriage to each other and 38 years of marriage to his company. He retired December 31, 2007 Somehow, with very little input on my part, a few old photos to choose from, some suggested colors-my husband grew up in Kenya-black,red,green; we met in Ireland, green, white and orange; and we live in America, red , white and blue, led to this artistic creation of silk champagne and sky blue fabrics with ribbons of green, red, and black. Then there was a wonderful surprise of three photos taken on the same day of John by himself, me getting out of a Volkswagen Beetle, with Liberty of London scarf on my curls; and lastly, with our arms around each ohter in 1969, the year we were married. Of course the pillow has central billing on our sofa. Each time we pass it, we smile, and often at each other. What a wonderful gift!"

"Just a note to tell you that the pillows were so, so lovely and a big hit with my nieces. Thanks you again. I know that my family will be using you again for other projects. Your pillows are very, very special!"
-Jacki, Minneapolis, Minnesota
“The instant you set your eyes on the handcrafted pillows,
you are drawn in by their charm and mix of media. The combination
of the silks with vintage ribbon and buttons are further complimented
by the photos and prose, instill feelings of warmth and comfort.
This is an item to treasure in any room of your home. It is
difficult to fully describe the great kudos I get from your
work. I can't wait for the holiday items; they are going to
be spectacular!”

“A collection capable of capturing the moment—Momento
takes your most precious events, memories, and treasures,
and transforms them into a pillow, a treasure. You want to
keep it close to you because the memories are so dear. I bought
the Motherhood pillow to give to my mother—to celebrate
her mother's life.”
-Marie, Chicago, Illinois
“I gave my parents a pillow from the Momento collection
to celebrate their 45th Wedding Anniversary. The pillow was
the most meaningful present I could give them. My parents
were speechless when they received it, but later couldn't
stop thanking me. The pillow has pictures from the past and
present that express a million words. My mom cried when she
received it.”
-Beth, St. Paul, Minnesota
“Momento’s fine art collection of accessories
for the home is beautiful; the craftsmanship is exceptional.
The phrasing and poetry—along with the photography—are
unique and set them apart from even the most exceptional pillows
on the market. I look at my Momento pillow every day; it is
one of the most meaningful accessories that I have in my home.”
-Linda, Minneapolis, Minnesota
“There are moments in our everyday lives when those
we know so well are remembered. A photograph we find in a
drawer, words we read again in a favorite book, a fragrance
in the air—in those moments of exploring what is there
around us we feel who is absent. How nice, then, to have a
way of honoring those moments of recollection with a gift
from Momento that appeals to our cherished sense of the people
we know, remember, and love.”
–Marianne, Minneapolis,
Minnesota
“I received a very unique gift from my sister for my
50th birthday: a one-of-a-kind pillow with a very special
poem and photograph. The workmanship is impeccable. I have
it displayed in a lovely shadow box beside my bed.”
